Pisa
22nd June 2008

We almost drove past this inconspicuous entrance to one of the worlds most famous landmarks. If you look carefully, you can just see the top of the leaning tower. We double back, park up and lock the bikes in searing heat.

A De Haan Hotel
Here is the wonderful view that greets you as you go through the gate.

Stella Maris Hallway
Just a little further in and every building is so clean, fresh and no forgetting, wonky.

In fact the tower seems to be leaning at a rather dodgy angle. All those poor tourists look like they may be in danger.

No wonder all the buildings are wonky, they are Jerry built, even the blocks have been used upside down!!!!!

Not to worry, like millions of tourists before, the Bikers Assication of North Devon come to the rescue and save the leaning tower of Pisa and all the tourists inside it.

Please don't make a fuss and thank us, our reward is knowing that we did our duty. It was easy really, in fact it was a Pisa cake.

Job well done, we take a saunter around the back streets in the shade.
